Alright I have a coolant leak on the front drivers side of the car. It is further back from the radiator and seems to be coming from somewhere near the mess of alternator/PS pump. Yesterday is when I noticed it after the temp gauge spiked. So to get home I added some water.

A/C drains are typically on the passenger side. You may have a leak in one of the grommets feeding wiring, steering, or brake stuff through the firewall on the driver side. Or, a windshield-to-cowl leak on the driver side. Such a leak would come in under the carpet, and soak it, while keeping the floor mat dry.

if water is leaking from side of engine .. look to see if its leaking on side of intake check thermostat housing again check water pump or if its leaking towards the bottom of block it could be a freeze plug all easy fixes freeze plugs can be replaced with an expansion plug that has a nut on it to tighten to fit or replace with oem and a hammer
